Your Role and Responsibilities
We are currently seeking an Associate Partner to join our team, to focus specifically on the financial markets industry in IBM Consulting Indonesia, as part of the banking & financial markets sector. This position is for subject matter experts with direct experience in the Banking and/or other Financial Service industry. Your unique role will drive success and determine where to compete, how to differentiate, and how to innovate business models and technology platforms by taking advantage of new digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Offering Development: Understand the strategic needs in the Financial Services industry, short and long-term business objectives, and then collaborate with cross-functional teams to create tailor-made service offerings.
  • Business Development and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, up to and including C-Level; lead pursuit teams; participate and lead the proposal development process; contribute to proposal shaping and pricing strategies. Owning both business metrics, financial P&L and leading cross-functional global team delivering quality results for clients.
  • Delivery & Engagement Management: Lead engagement planning and budgeting; Lead strategy and Transformation; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
  • Practice Development: Lead cross-functional team of practice; perform role of counsellor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
  • At least 18 years of experience in Consulting/Advisory, shaping solutions for customers and delivering large transformations in financial markets/FSI/FSS.
  • At least 5 years of experience in business development
  • Ability to articulate the specific industry challenges presented by data & new technology market trends.
  • Proven track record of developing strong client relationships with a focus at the executive level.
  • First-class communication and presentation skills; has the ability to engage persuasively with senior stakeholders both inside IBM and with clients.
  • Experience building, leading multi-functional teams to develop and deliver technical solutions.
