Role Summary:
Monitor the Non-Metro and Secondary Gateways Operations Group by planning and implementing strategies to ensure improvement in both service and transit time performance whilst managing costs. Manage in a high pressure, changing environment with demands from both internal & external customers, locally, regionally and globally. Main Responsibilities:
Achieve agreed market leading Transit Time, Data Quality and Service Performance targets.
Manage the measurement, monitoring and actions for improvement.
Implement the Operations component of Annual Operating plans in tandem with the Regional strategies.
Ensure country operational practices and procedures are compliant with regional and network operation policies.
Support the business acquisition process and provide after sales support in order to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Work with Customs Clearance Manager to agree on how to maximize revenues by picking up shipments late and clearance ratio by start clearing them early enough.
Communicate regularly with Ground Operations Manager to identify and resolve operations issues.
Monitor operating plans in various distribution centers and allocate resources as necessary.
Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
Determine organization structure, roles and responsibility and performance targets for the function.
Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree (or equivalent)
3-5 years’ experience in DHL Express Indonesia, preferably in ID Network Operations
