Panagora Group, a small, woman-owned business providing novel and integrated solutions in global health and international development, is supporting USAID/Indonesia to implement its new Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) through a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Platform (MEL-P) Activity. MEL-P provides its services through five components: 1) monitoring support services, 2) designing and conducting performance and impact evaluations, 3) providing research, assessment, and data analysis, 4) providing consulting and advisory services and logistical support services, and 5) initiating collaboration, learning, and adapting activities. Along with enhancing MEL capability, we also promote use of the empirical evidence for programming, learning, and adapting as USAID supports the Government of Indonesia (GOI).
MEL-P is supporting USAID/Indonesia, Office of Health with the recruitment of a Health Information System National Consultant to support with programming in the thematic areas of health systems strengthening (HSS), maternal and child health (MCH), Tuberculosis (TB), and HIV. The consultant will assist the office with designing and implementing activities in the aforementioned themes in collaboration with the GOI, development partners, and other relevant stakeholders. This specifically entails:
Providing technical advice to the Health Office on its HIS approach.
Supporting USAID to ensure continuity and soundness of HIS approaches and strategies for existing and new activities, in line with USAID and GOI priorities, and global best practices.
Coordinating with USAID implementing partners, other development partners, and the GOI.
Supporting the development of concept notes and other activity design-related documents.
Preparing reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Providing other technical, analytical, programmatic, and administrative input to the Office of Health, as needed.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Information Technology, Public Health, or related area.
At least five (5) years of professional experience in supporting technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of health information systems in Indonesia.
Fluency in both written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Technical knowledge and understanding of Health Information System, Digital Health, Data Interoperability and Integration, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, DHIS2. Understanding of USAID Principles for Digital Development is preferred.
Demonstrated high degree of interpersonal, analytical, communication, managerial, leadership, planning, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
