GOJEK is looking for an experienced and driven
product leader to lead the Driver Earnings and Experience team, which is part of the larger Driver Platform group.
As a Product Lead you will manage and inspire a group of PMs, engineers and cross-functional partners to drive strategy, planning and development of innovative solutions for our Driver partners.
You will lead and drive the roadmap for two broad spaces:
1) tools and features that empower Drivers to maximize their earning potential and
2) end-to-end order delivery experience for Drivers; which allows them to service all the three service types (transport, food and logistics) across all countries in SE asia where we operate.
You will do this by creating state-of-the-art solutions that empower drivers with data and personalized recommendations and streamlining the information architecture & flows in the driver app which delight drivers, minimizes daily friction, improves efficiency and improve customer experience.
What You Will Do
Define strategy, vision, OKRs for your spaces and hold your team accountable for setting and achieving their individual goals
Be outcome driven, everything we do needs metrics. Track these metrics and strive to improve those day in day out
Manage and support product managers in your product group, providing them with guidance and mentorship to maximise their potential
Recruit, hire and train new team members as you grow your product area
Be an effective leader. Partner and collaborate with your stakeholders. Core stakeholders are Driver Business team, Region teams, UX, Research, Business Intelligence, Data Science and our Product Groups from Transport and Food and beyond
Continue to strive for Innovation. Be aware of innovation that is happening in your domain space
You must be execution and delivery driven. Delivering solutions on time, on budget matters and most importantly solving customer needs counts
We expect our product managers to be great at stakeholder management, prioritisation and project management
What You Will Need
Should have a Bachelor’s/ Masters or an equivalent degree, preferably in engineering or management
At least 7 years of total experience, with a minimum 6 years of product management experience
Experience leading a small/medium sized team of product managers
Entrepreneurial spirit; comfortable working in a complex, ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Strong executive presence, and a proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results
Ability to easily transition from high-level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
Analytical and data-driven approach, you love digging into the data to analyze what’s happening and define and measure success on every project
Ability to work effectively with remote teams and multiple stakeholders.
About The Team
The Driver Platform Group is responsible for building products & features which meet the end-to-end needs of our driver-partners. It directly impacts the livelihood of ~ 1 million driver-partners, socially & economically uplifting the lives of our drivers & their families. Our apps are operational across multiple countries in the Southeast Asian region, including Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam, and are growing rapidly. We are a team of 80+ talented software engineers, product managers, designers, researchers and data scientists spread across our various regions in South-East Asia.
Earnings & Experience (E&E) is a 30+ member team within Driver platform and constitutes dedicated PM, engineering, UX, research, BI and Data science teams. It is internally split into two verticals 1) - Creating and managing a high quality and effective bookings management ecosystem for Drivers which is able to cater to all service types and geographies and 2) implementing tools and capabilities based on ML and personalisation which help drivers maximise their earnings.
Key initiatives include working with food, transport and logistics verticals to visualise and implement cutting edge use cases for customers and drivers, driver coach and driver positioning ecosystems that provide personalised recommendations to drivers to maximise their income potential, creating and launching predictive models that allow for effective demand|supply balance during supply stressed situations and implementing industry leading information architecture and user experience for booking management and associated workflows which improve customer/driver experience and reduce anxiety
