FIELD SERVICE REP III


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shall be responsible for any material and equipment assigned to him
  • Shall be responsible for complying with all procedures, on a daily basis, when performing operations involving the use of material and equipment
  • Shall be responsible for compilation and submission of all job reports, field service tickets and related job packet data
  • Shall be responsible for maintaining all service equipment and rental tools
  • Shall be responsible for maintaining his company vehicle that is assigned to him
  • Shall be responsible for complying with all HSE policies, procedures, generally accepted practices and government regulations
  • Other duties as may be assigned
  • Must be willing to work weekend and statutory holidays
  • Field Supervisory position providing customers with unsupervised field service and technical product support relating specifically to two of the following:
    • X-Span and Bridge Plugs
    • Prism and related services
    • Thru Tubing Remedial Operations - clean outs, plug setting, motors
    • Thru Tubing Fishing Operations – clean outs, milling, specialty tools, retrieval operations

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Engineering Degree or Petroleum Technology Certificate
  • Or work experience/demonstrated competency in disciplines outlined in qualification requirements

EXPERIENCE

Demonstrate competency in two of the four field service disciplines :

  • X-Span and Bridge Plugs
  • Prism and related services
  • Thru Tubing Remedial Operations
  • Thru Tubing Fishing Operations

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER BEING HIRED BY OWEN

Will be required to complete on the job, class room and work shop training under the supervision of previously trained company personnel. Demonstrate through field evaluation competence in the use of material and equipment that will be used on the job. Demonstrate understanding of basic applications and calculations by successfully completing the written examinations given in any classroom-training course(s).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Valid passport
