Job Description

A. Job Purpose He/she role is to oversee Production & Process Engineering team to be able effectively deliver the target. Main target for Production is to deliver planned volume at most effective cost in the area of (1) Material (waste, overusage), Labor (effective hours usage VS standard hrs), and Other Variable Cost. (2) At Quality as per required by its specification (3) At the given time frame of delivery date (4) in compliance to Safety and Environmental aspects. Main target for Process Engineering Team is to support & facilitate production team to be able to execute seamless production process, comply to all requirement (from R&D, QC / Customer) to address NCA/Rework issue. This include to give support in the area of : providing technical advise & training to operator, investigating problems related to process, analyzing requirement of production tools / dies, and pro-actively being part of problem solving / continuous improvement initiatives. Process Engineering team also need to do close coordination with other department in particular (but not limited to) Quality, R&D, Maintenance, during new product development/ trial as well as during daily production operation. B. Principal Responsibilities
  • Drive the team on proper / effective material usage, waste level and over usage are under control.
  • Labor management : to make sure good OEE, line running as per standard speed.
  • Drive the team on Right the First Time, to reduce rework and customer complaint.
  • Drive the team on achievement production plan as per agreed forecast. To review line saturation.
  • Control Production team related variable cost.
  • Stock take leader for WIP
  • Owner of Daily Meeting (meeting 45)
  • Manage good coordination, especially with Production Planning, Material Planning, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, & R&D – and other supporting functions.
  • Responsible on HSE & Quality in Production area
  • Involve in Continuous Improvement program such as :Kaizen, 6S, A3, etc.
C. Education Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering. D Experience Min 8 years in senior managerial position on Production / Engineering area, of Manufacturing environment E. Other Essential Attribute
  • Strong Leadership & manage
  • Hands on with shopfloor matter.
  • Comfortable with detail.
  • Use to deal with labor issue will be a plus.
  • Good communication skill.
