Job Description

Business Function
Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.


Responsibilities

  • Deepen understanding of borrowers’ financial performance
  • Be able to impose appropriate measures (covenant, facility structure etc) to mitigate credit risks.
  • Help the bank to reduce NPL and impaired assets – create healthier portfolio
  • Improve discipline in credit monitoring process.
  • To work on various ad-hoc engagement to broaden exposures, engagement with various stakeholders across the bank as well as more responsibility (project management role).

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor degree with major in business, management, accounting, or banking and finance
  • minimum of 5 years working experience in financial industry – e.g. accountant, analyst, corporate finance and relationship manager (in bank or non-bank financial institution)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, able to work without close supervision, making decision and strong control attitude.
