Introduction to User Growth
User Growth's mission is to grow Lazada’s user base. We build demand for Lazada’s two-sided platform and are critical to the long-term success of Southeast Asia's fast-growing eCommerce industry. We drive user growth via acquisition, incubation, engagement through promotional and loyalty programs. We study our users to design personalised customer lifecycle journey with Lazada. We engage users with innovative games, social sharing, online marketing, promotions, and creative content. We work with advertising and strategic partners to reach new and existing users. We are a team of passionate growth hackers from diverse backgrounds - including product, channel management, operations, business development, strategy, data analytics and tech. We work collaboratively across six ventures (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam). At Lazada, we redefine challenges, spearhead innovation, and build new standards. Reporting to the User Growth Head (Promotional Programs), you will be the key driver of selected promotional programs, and cross-program initiatives:
Identify gaps from buyers and merchant experience when they interact with Lazada platform and develop innovative solutions/promotional programs to address these painpoints
Plan and lead high-impact cross-functional Go-to-market promotional programs across different stakeholders and country teams to reach goals of improving key business goals: basket size, purchase frequency, others.
Drive onsite growth funnel from buyer acquisition, retention and conversion through systematic site analytics and extensive A/B testing, working closely with product/tech/design and data teams
Facilitate adoption by merchants of these key promotional programs to grow their business on this platform, helping them to also understand their performance shifts
Design regional growth financial models, scale and automate growth processes to make it leaner, more efficient and on a start-up mode
Establishing operational excellence through working closely with country teams to implement regional standard operating procedures
Setting measurable goals across the Promotional program function that are linked to the company’s strategic objectives
Manage and analyze marketing data and merchant and buyer feedback (performance results, conversion rates, traffic, sales etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Business Analytics/Economics or related fields.
Minimum 3 years' of working experience in a quantitative-driven business field such as User Lifecycle Management, Management Consulting, Business Analytics, Strategy & Planning and preferably in a regional position
Data-driven, proficient at insight analysis to catch business opportunities and execute operational strategy in a short timespan.
Experience in designing a regional product operation framework and business modelling to systematically drive growth.
Commercial and marketing sense, good at competition analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Independent and self-driven, record of execution to the last mile
Knowledge of SQL is highly preferred, Python and other computer languages are a plus
Draft and review various legal documents, and/or negotiate on contracts with external partners.
