Job Description

An award-winning and internationally recognized label, art space, and lifestyle brand in Kerobokan, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Pattern Maker (Full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Execute first production patterns according to design requirements using established base patterns in all silhouette categories
  • Create first production specs and initial sewing instructions
  • Collaborate with Creative Design, Technical Design and Sample Room to establish style construction standards
  • Work with sample room to execute fit and sew-by samples
  • Participate in fittings and execute needed revisions with Creative Design and or Technical Design on assigned styles

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • 3-5 years’ proven experience in pattern making
  • Excellent pattern making and grading skills for womenswear, menswear and kids in various woven fabric types
  • Proficient in CAD, especially Optitex system
  • Exceptional understanding of garment construction and fitting
  • Ability to translate sketches into three-dimensional designs
  • Have knowledge of technical stitching
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Task-oriented and organized
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible in terms of changing priorities and dealing with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to work with internal and external departments, including but not limited to engineering, production and off-site manufacturing facilities
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
