Job Description

As a SDET Lead, you will be leading a team of software development test engineers, with the role of optimizing, improving and maintaining the manual and automated testing environment. As the lead, you will be responsible to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that adheres to company standards and user needs. You will be a key contributor, driving Sinbad’s mission to simplify the supply chain by connecting suppliers and traditional retailers through the use of technology.

Who you are and what you’ll be responsible for:
Technical Leader: Lead the development of automated testing for feature releases, monitor the performance of test life cycle by test engineers, and provide guidance for the streamlining and optimization of various QA processes.

People Leader: Manage and grow your team members by teaching them hard and soft skills, while achieving team goals.

Collaborative: Work closely with the Product, Engineering, and operational teams for software and quality issues, to define acceptance criteria with different stakeholders, and to scale & grow the technology ecosystem.

Goal-Oriented: Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual performance testing to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software within time requirements.

Deadline-Driven: Plan, prioritize, and assign appropriate test engineers to projects, and ensure quality and time requirements are fulfilled.

Effective-Communicator: Able to articulate and effectively communicate the testing methods and diagnosis of bugs and potential problems to ensure software runs smoothly and meets user needs.
Basic Requirements

5+ years of experience as SDET / Senior in diverse environments and teams

At least 2 years experience as a SDET lead / Architect

Excellent understanding of Software Testing Principles

Strong knowledge & experience in the SDLC & Agile Scrum environment

Experienced using JS for automated testing

Fluent in one automation test tools (Jest or Robot Framework)

Experience with AWS Cloud Ops

Good understanding & experience in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), Web Service, API Tools & Mobile Testing

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering: Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent relevant work experience

Fluent in both English & Bahasa Indonesia, competent reading and writing abilities in both languages

Preferred Requirements

Experienced in both Jest & Robot Framework

Experience in the implementation of stress testing

Knowledge & experience in CI & CD for AT environment

Previous experience in E-Commerce, Logistics, and/or Fintech platforms

Excited to work in a start-up environment

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Critical thinking with problem-solving skills
