Job Description

As a Staff Engineer, you will identify, and develop new processes for product/packages, and put in place process controls to make sure the product/packages are of high quality and are manufactured in a reproducible manner.
In your new role you will:
  • Be responsible as Staff Engineer Die Bond Unit Process Development to develop and qualify new assembly packages, process and ensure meeting design to cost & design manufacturing.
  • To improve the current process, looking for improvements, efficiency, and value engineering.
  • Drive for innovation and thinking out of the box for any issue.
  • Monitor performance, quality, and reliability of the assembly process.
  • Conduct process knowledge transfer to segment team and ensure smooth process knowledge handover.
  • Support end to end on tooling and machine ramp-up requirements
  • Introduce, support, and buy off new process/ equipment/ tooling and road mapping for development activities.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Electronic/electrical Engineering or Physics Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Die Bond Process.
  • Good knowledge on die bond material such as epoxy glue, DAF and the interaction for wafer backside material to various leaframes materials.
  • Good knowledge for Die attach tooling design and analysis.
  • Hands-on knowledge on ASM, Esec, Datacon and other advanced die bonder equipment's.
  • Independent with good communication and coordination skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to lead a team for complex problem-solving
  • Good analytical thinking and high initiative to challenge him/her self to move to the next level of competency.
