About the Job
  • The Business Strategy manager position will play a critical role in delivering excellent strategies and work for our Business Development Team. Your role will be to understand the business objectives of the users and work closely with the Director. From there, you will lead the delivery of the execution plan which includes leading the Outbound Sales teams in bringing the plan to market.
  • You’ll be expected to work with product, sales, marketing, analytics, operations, technology and creative teams to complete deliverables. You’ll be responsible for guiding the strategy and creating the briefs needed to guide the work. You will be the point person for working directly with the merchants and answering the internal questions needed to deliver the work.
The company growth depends on your duties and responsibilities as follow:
  • Provide thought leadership, particularly in the area of technology usage, tool assessments, and optimization opportunities
  • Lead the delivery teams by working closely with project managers, technology, analytics, creative and operational teams, reviewing and providing feedback on deliverables
  • Participate in identifying solutions across channels including email, website, mobile, direct mail, display ads, paid social and other media with a heavy emphasis on the technology aspect of executing in these channels
  • Write and present project briefs when executing projects
  • Present strategies and deliverables to merchants through engaging storytelling
  • Partner closely with project management to ensure clear expectations are set
  • Manage feedback and provide clear direction to internal teams
  • Manage merchant expectations throughout the life of the work
  • Review and provide feedback on strategic solutions
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, operations, call center, finance, analytics, operations, product, technology, and senior management
  • Monitor and proactively report out on best practices and overall market trends
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, public relations or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience across CRM, Digital, 1to1 marketing, loyalty program development, social and paid media with a heavy emphasis and interest in the technology required to execute in these channels
  • Experience and interest in identifying, working with, and integrating leading technologies including but not limited to:
  • Testing and Personalization (e.g., Google Optimize, Optimizely)
  • eCommerce (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience building and executing plans that deliver on objectives and provide measurable results
  • Strong attention to detail while simultaneously understanding the holistic strategy
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills: you’re able to tell a story through your presentations
  • Ability to understand data and reporting and provide summaries back to the clients
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to diplomatically handle a fast-paced work environment
