Job Description
Positively contributing to the overall strategy for IT within the country, and subsequent planning for effective implementation
Manage the day to day operations, project activities and resources.
Managing and reporting on the allocation of IT budget.
Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
Improve the operational systems and process flows to optimize the customer experience.
Planning and maintaining IT solutions for accurate service efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop, review and implement IT policies and systems that will support the business while ensure compliance with the local laws.
Drive and manage project end to end delivery including requirement, design, testing and deployment.
Work closely with project coordinators and engineers to ensure smooth running of projects through the life cycle.
Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverable.
Engaging with project managers, to ensure correct projects are produced for the Country, in a timely fashion, evaluating the quality of project outputs against agreed acceptance criteria
Contributing to the planning of the installation and testing of new versions of system software within the Country, overseeing the implementation and resolution of potential and actual service problems
Leading, developing and growing the IT Operations team in accordance with the company’s people principles and processes, including developing optimal structures and clear accountabilities, maximizing employee performance, providing mentoring and coaching
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science
At least 5+ years experience in IT Solution and 2+ years people management
Working experience in IT Projects and management.
Certification in ITILv3, PMP ,CISA , CISM, ISO 27001 is an advantage.
Experience in banking industry, is preferable
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operation best practices.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, project management and communication skills, with the ability to absorb technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a non-technical audience.
Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, from both IT and business, to investigate underlining issues of operational problems and seek effective business solutions through improvements in information systems, data management, processes/procedures and organization.
Experience in working effectively with a global workforce and can adapt to local operating models and culture.
Able to understand the IT management policy and quality management policy to ensure processes and procedures are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines.
