You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.

How you will contribute

To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

More about this role

The Project Manager role is responsible for planning and execution of projects including capex and cash flow management.

Project development and execution will apply the Innovation Initiative Management (IIM) / Commissioning, Qualification, Verification (CQV) process and in parallel ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.

This role will work together with the BD&E Lead, SEA Biscuits and Chocolates to develop and execute capital projects that will:

  • Enable growth, innovation and efficiency and promote the roll out of a high-performance work environment
  • Enable productivity
  • Improve infrastructure
  • Implement best in class technology and capability (benchmarking conversion costs and technology platforms).

What you need to know about this position:

  • Identifies cost effective, high savings productivity solutions and develops project in order to improve performance, product quality, safety and sustainability, yield and manufacturing cycle times
  • Leads the SSAL and Digitization agenda / road map and projects for the SEA BU

Education / Certifications:

  • University Degree or equivalent further education qualification in relevant discipline. (required)
  • Proven Project Management skills (required)

Job specific requirements:

  • Fluency with computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, project management software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP). (required)
  • Qualified in IL6S with focus on IIM (preferred)

Travel requirements:

Local travel: ~20%

International: As required

Work schedule:

Normal office hours and as required (basis project requirements)

No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
