We are looking for Data Engineer who based in Jakarta.

As Data Engineer at PMI, you will develop data products (data warehouse or data mart), and application management (Airflow orchestration, CICD with Git, Jenkins). Not only supporting Indonesia, but you will have exposure to support data implementation in other markets.

HOW CAN YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

Research, evaluate, and develop PMI Enterprise Data Platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges.
Handle production support issues as they arise (problem solving, debugging).
Work in one or more cross-functional teams to develop prototypes, proof of concepts and implementing data projects with a focus on collecting, parsing, managing, analysing, and visualizing large sets leveraging PMI Enterprise Data Platform.
Extend and improve our internal frameworks, develop guidelines, and best practices.
Perform technology and product research to better define requirements, resolve important issues and improve overall capability of PMI Enterprise Data Platform.
Handle production support issues as they arise (problem solving, debugging).
Communicate with various teams, keeping everyone up to date on deployments, outages, issues, and solutions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
Knowledge and 5+ years of proven experience working with SQL programming (advance), building ETL processes (batch and streaming)
Experience with data warehouse concepts, best practise, and implementation
Problem solving skills
Quick learning of new technologies
Experience in cloud technology (GCP or AWS) is mandatory
Proven success in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements and define data engineering strategy
Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other Data Engineers for best practices
As assets:
Code versioning (GIT/SVN)
Microsoft Power BI knowledge
Experience Apache Airflow
Python
