About the Role
As Accounting Manager you are expected to contribute to the Company’s success by getting your hands dirty in resolving various accounting and financial reporting issues through process improvement plans which is ensuring an efficient financial reporting flow structure to support our accounting teams. You also are expected to manage strategic projects, mainly ad-hoc, relevant to the financial reporting of the Company. It is expected to collaborate with peers whether from internal accounting team members or external counterparts.

What You Will Do

Lead and manage ad-hoc projects for greater accounting group functions including strategic or operational in nature
Collaborate with all accounting team members and other functions in identifying and resolving any accounting and financial reporting issues
Develop and establish plans and procedures to achieve an effective and efficient financial reporting process
Advocate and promote process improvements required to all stakeholders
Liaise with internal and external parties to serve regulatory and compliance needs (i.e. external advisors, auditors, due diligence)

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
At least 5 years of experience cumulatively in accounting roles is a must; auditing/accounting firm, operational accounting, consolidation accounting, technical accounting/advisory
Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations, mainly PSAK and IFRSExcel wizard, and preferably has prior exposure with SAP or similar ERP system
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving, and results
Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently under the general guidance and with self-initiative
Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement

About the Team Our team is a part of the larger Finance, Accounting, and Tax (FAT) team based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Working alongside other accounting team members as well as finance, tax, financial planning & control teams. As an accounting team, we are constantly trying to find the best implementation to deliver quality financial information to all of our stakeholders. We are passionate folks about identifying and resolving accounting-reporting-related issues.
