Job Description

Responsibility
  • Maintenance supervisors have different technical backgrounds so they can support each other on-site at different paper machine lines.
  • The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates the maintenance tasks according to the annual budget, related maintenance plans and unplanned maintenance tasks. Furthermore, the Maintenance Supervisor contributes to ensure the required plant availability/plant performance (measured by key performance indicators), based on the company's or department's technical objectives of availability and quality, including the following key competences:
  • to ensure the implementation of maintenance strategies and policies;
  • plan the maintenance tasks within his area of responsibility, defining and organizing the necessary resources;
  • to organize, manage and develop the maintenance resources: personnel, materials and equipment;
  • to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures related to safety, health and environment;
  • to ensure technical and economic efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance tasks based on current state of technology;
  • to participate in the technical aspects of contracts and procurement process and manage the performance of the contractors;
  • to communicate to all necessary partners such as staff, contractors, customer and suppliers
  • to show leadership on emergency, critical situations in particular, and be a leader for the team on normal running circumstances
  • to effectively plan, allocate and used any resources necessaries to secure the performance of the plant (materials, ext.labour, contracts…)
  • participate maintenance works in his team
Requirements
  • Hold a diploma/ bachelor degree from technical college.
  • Solid experience in Maintenance Dept in Paper Mill, with a demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read work instructions and schematics.
  • Be open and respect other cultures as well as enjoy networking.
  • Willing to stay and work on customer sites in Pangkalan Kerinci - Riau, Indonesia, with limited travels for business meetings.
