Mission/Position Headline:
Plan, coordinate and controll of the material management/logistics activities in projects/production The aims is to ensure an economical supply to customers which is geared to the customer needs. In his function Logistic officer is a member of the core team in a project/production
Areas of Responsibility:

  • responsible for team objective, planning, optimization and control of traffic process
  • responsible to prepare clean shipping document for KITE Facility (Duty Drawback), report and closely monitor with Customs authority
  • to apply Customs and government legislations through strict compliance with the National Law/regulations to optimize benefits and minimize risks for Siemens
  • initiating traffic processes and pin-pointing approaches to secure local objective. Early integration in all traffic/logistics related procedure, be a competent partner to all internal customers. Development of a project specific concept for the customer supply and the cost accounting of supply chain costs (material management in the project, risks in the overall process, resources, time and capacity schedules, respectively financial targets). To be able to give secured time and costs information and thereby raising the hit rate and to minimize non-conformity costs
  • planning and controlling. Definition of individual objectives to measure, report and control, to give prediction in the overall result. To update the concept for the customer supply including planning and coordinating the customer supply process in order to ensure economical supply chain which is geared to the customer needs. To create and coordinate supply chain specific requirement with engineering, procurement and project management to ensure the overall optimization of the supply chain and the planned lead times.
  • to identify and assess particular risks (e.g delays, failures, capacity & insurance coverage) in logistics process & area to minimize risks exposures
  • to create biddings for logistics services (transportation, loading/unloading, site construction if necessary) in order to reduce logistics cost
  • to participate in project discussions to identify project changes at an early stage and ensure to minimize the impact for the concept for the customer supply
  • prepare and support the cost accounting of logistics costs in the project
Experience:
Minimum 2 (two) years experience in the same field
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor Degree (from management transport and logistics is preferable)
  • PPJK/Customs Service Management Company Certificate is preferable
