Job Description

About the job:
Pre-Production Assistants act as the point person between the production team and development/design team. They monitor stock levels, place production orders, organise all materials and documentation for production in a timely manner and comprehensive, and ensure that production can run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Final overview and coordination of styles from development team to the production team
  • Prepare component sheets, technical specifications, and approved sample before production begins.
  • Follow up all sample garments sewn by the sample sewer for production handover
  • Confirm fabrication and trim has arrived or scheduled to arrive. Advise the purchasing and inventory team if there’s missing schedule
  • Confirms all styles are approved and fully graded before transferring them to the marker process in the cutting department.
  • Update development team if any changes are made to components, sewing process, or cut sheets due to production efficiency.
  • Notify Purchasing in advance for any extra production process like crochet, krawang, macrame, or sequence to executing orders.
  • Keep a calendar of important delivery dates and coordination for your own information and to notify managers of anything that is missing to achieve delivery.
  • Enter time study information provided by the line manager into computer documents.
  • Help translate tech packs from English to Bahasa Indonesia for production

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Have experience in apparel production are preferable. Fresh graduate are also welcome!
  • Strong organisational, communication, and analytical thinking skill
  • Strong in data and administration skill in Microsoft Suites, Google Suites, and Outlook
  • Detail oriented and able to oversee task in big picture
  • Able to use software design like CorelDRAW / Photoshop / AI in basic level

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: From Rp350,000,000 per month
