About Our Client

Our client provides financing services to people who need access to credit. Their product varies from collateral based vehicle financing to property based financing.

Job Description

  • Work closely with Product and Design team to build products with great User Experience
  • Work closely with Backend Engineers to integrate APIs with client applications
  • Translate UI designs into HTML and CSS
  • Build quality software and ensure high code coverage by writing unit and integration tests
  • Write quality and efficient codes along with good documentation
  • Build reusable and shared UI components
  • Document and maintain technical documentation to be always up-to-date
  • Communicate and collaborate with other teams to achieve business objective
  • Continuously learn and improve technical capabilities
  • Mentor more junior team members

The Successful Applicant

  • 0-3 years (junior role) or 4+ years (senior role) of experience as a frontend engineer working with medium to large projects
  • Worked in agile environment and has good grasp of agile cadence
  • Strong experience in Javascript and ECMA script. Experience in Typescript is a plus
  • Good experience in HTML5 and CSS (layout, responsive design)
  • Experience in React Javascript framework and state management (Redux, Hooks)
  • Good understanding in application security, authentication, and writing secure codes
  • Experience in CSS frameworks or UI component libraries
  • Experience in writing Unit and Integration test and modern testing frameworks (e.g. Cypress, Mocha, Chai)
  • Strong understanding in version control (Git), package managers (npm), module bundlers (Webpack)
