About the department
We are looking for Director, Clinical, Medical, Regulatory, & Quality (CMRQ) who will drive our Indonesia affiliate across the different Therapy Areas. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager, you will be a part of the Management Team, which is responsible for driving business across Indonesia.
As CMRQ Director, you will get the opportunity to join a diverse and high performing team with a variety of professional backgrounds within Clinical Operations, Medical and Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, and Pharmacovigilance.
The position is located in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Position
As CMRQ Director, you will manage and direct all clinical, medical operations, regulatory, and PV operations of Indonesia in compliance with local procedures, ICH/GCP, national regulations/ requirements, corporate and legal requirements, so as to support current and new business opportunities and strategic objectives taking into consideration the short-, medium-, and long-term business need, at the same time driving a highly efficient team and ensuring that each function (C, M, R, Q and PV) reaches its targets.
The position holder will need to build strong relations both inside the organization including headquarters and outside collaborating with KOL’s, key stakeholders, and government authorities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has a post graduate medical degree from a reputable university.
Due to the complexity and importance of the job, the knowledge required is quite extensive within both the functional area and in general - in understanding the impact of the business.
You are a team leader working through others both in cross national and cross functional team and boards.
You are also expected to be GCP trained and have a sound knowledge of NN Quality Management Systems
You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company; you should have handled responsibilities related to market support, clinical trials, and government regulatory affairs.
You have experience in planning and execution on local trials and experience on international clinical trials or CDT.
You also have a global understanding of Medical Affairs and requirements, experience in engaging with regulatory bodies and drug safety.
Excellent leadership skills, strong matrix, interpersonal and influencing skills are part of the job.
Experience in Diabetes is an advantage.
You are armed with strong communication and negotiation skills, able to take initiative, work independently and fluent in both written and spoken English.
