About Our Client

The client is a leading global manufacturer of sensors, modules power electronics for the automotive industry.

Job Description

  • Oversees the supplier quality operations from design up to program launch
  • Works to find solutions and resolve problems related to product design, manufacturing process, requirements / specifications, materials, tooling / equipment in collaboration with engineering and manufacturing team
  • Ensure that a quality system has been established in compliance with proper protocols for all areas related to Quality Control - layout, testing, receiving, inspection, etc.
  • Upholds and improves supplier / customer communication procedures
  • Examine and review all procedures to ensure correct and up-to-date supplier information, and to revise or incorporate new testing and inspection method.
  • Ensures that supplier PPAP requirements is executed as per customers' specification
  • Conducts regular supplier audit to ensure adherence with product specs and standards.
  • Closely work with suppliers to create, implement, and carry out cost savings & productivity improvement measures
  • Supervises and manages the quality personnel
  • Ensure the work space is following environmental and regulation compliance

The Successful Applicant

  • Willing to be relocated in Batam
  • Has minimum of 10 years of experiences in Quality Control / Quality Assurance, laboratory testing procedure as well as product reliability, with at least 3 years of supervisory / lead role.
  • Well-versed in ISO TS16949 and ISO 14001
  • Bachelor Degree of Engineering & equivalent
  • Good English command, for both written and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, structured in terms of operation method, self-dependent, motivated
  • A team-oriented leader with strong yet flexible leadership skill
