Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) brings together the Disney’s best-in-class product, technology, and commercialization teams together into one global organization. DMED is responsible for the P&L management and all distribution, network and engineering operations, sales, advertising, data, and certain key technology functions worldwide for the Company’s content engines. It is available on most internet-connected devices and offers a variety of original feature-length films, documentaries, live-action and animated series and short-form content. Alongside unprecedented access to Disney’s incredible library of film and television entertainment, the service is also the exclusive streaming home for the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.
This role is responsible to provide recommendation for delivering Disney+ Hotstar brand and content marketing campaigns in Indonesia, focused on driving brand and platform awareness amongst local consumers. Some of the KPIs will include audience comprehension of the platform’s key benefits and unique selling points.
This role will lend support and advice to develop a mechanism to drive a local synergy and owned media plan for Disney+ Hotstar in Indonesia, ensuring that all owned media and synergy opportunities are maximized. He/she will also support the Senior Manager, Brand and Content Marketing to maximise brand equity as well as driving content streaming consumption locally.
This role will need to work closely with the SEA marketing team to ensure the execution of aligned initiatives within the brand guidelines.
Responsibilities :
Provide advice on the development of the brand and content marketing strategy for Disney+ Hotstar in Indonesia
Support in the development of Disney+ Hotstar brand and content marketing, and synergy through paid, earned and owned media campaigns/initiatives
Coordinate and provide advice on the planning, strategy and execution of marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market
Coordinate and provide advice on content strategies and road maps
Provide guidance to manage the education and communication of all brand activities and values, including regular brand training for key stakeholders
Work collaboratively with the broader Disney+ Hotstar team, Studio & Franchise teams and central brand marketing teams to provide mechanisms to develop, align campaigns and events, while building and maintaining positive relationships across the business
Provide guidance and advice on how to develop Go-To-Market Strategy for brand and content campaigns
Maintain marketing campaign calendar. Coordinate and provide advice on project timelines from ideation to launch
Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce a creative testing pipeline for each campaign cycle
In partnership with the broader Disney+ Hotstar marketing team, establish and track key KPIs for brand and content campaigns
Research and determine brand areas to be modified
Provide guidance and advice on how to develop effective brand positioning in the market
Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insights development
Provide guidance and advice on how to develop sales tools and collaterals
Coordinate with the team to launch and oversee advertising and media planning
Coordinate with the team to manage a campaign budget, including planning, tracking and reporting
Basic Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s Degree, with 5-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role which demonstrates experience with Film and TV content within digital distribution environments
Prior experience in developing and managing brand marketing campaigns across the marketing mix
Strong knowledge of subscription services and its competitive landscape
Comprehensive experience pitching, converting and managing brand partnerships
Good understanding of digital platforms
Proven ability to use data and insights to establish, track and optimize media plans against KPIs.
Strong experience in developing, recommending and implementing cross-platform media plans
Strong understanding of Indonesia media and content landscape
Strong understanding of consumer behavior
