Summary of essential job functions and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Technical / Engineering and commercial delivery of proposals / tenders for all assigned tenders
  • Thoroughly review tender documents which includes design documents, drawings, specifications, data sheets, calculations etc. and clearly-define the scope of the project
  • Prepare / raise pre-tender queries etc., and coordinate with owner departments and/or client for clarification.
  • Prepare technical submittals as per Bid / Tender requirements which includes (but not limited to) methods, plans, organization, implementation strategies, specialized method statements and commissioning plants etc.
  • Development alternative technical proposals as and where required.
  • Performing risk assessments and addressing concerns of clients and management.
  • Liaising with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Keeping track of all costs and managing budgets.
  • Presenting and compiling proposals.
  • Involve in all post tender activities till contract award including (but not limited to) attendance on meeting with clients /consultants, clarification of post tender queries, techno commercial negotiation etc.
  • Contract documents handing over activities: Such as transfer of inputs to design, PM, Cost Calculations, WBS

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in a Mechanical Engineering from reputable university with minimum GPA 2.75 (4 scale)
  • 5 - 10 years of proven experience at the same field and company’s business line
  • Proficient in CAD, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Project Fluent in English both oral and written
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to travel within Indonesia and overseas
  • Able to work independently
  • Having knowledge on ISO & OHSAS will be an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Having experienced on Hydropower Plants is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal skills – successful candidates will communicate effectively, possess strong writing skills, etc.
  • Highly organized, excellent problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task
