Responsibilities
1. Maintain and update accounting policy to be in line with new accounting standards
Establish and maintain all accounting policy that refer to the relevant transaction, which based relevant regulations (IFRS, PSAK, OJK Regulation and other regulation), for existing and/or new transaction such as new partnership, new product and etc. Including review and ensure that PLAI maintain a comprehensive accounting policy which applied for all current relevant transaction.
2. User Acceptance Test related to new product development
Preparing and ensuring system setup for new accounting standards or new products are well managed.
Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) based on accounting specs to ensure all the journal in accounting specs are developed in system and has been tested, based on testing checklist.
Ensure the UAT process meet the agreed timeline for sign off and system deployment.
Coordinate with related department if there are any discrepancies and conduct discussion to solve the issue.
Prepare business verification test after system deployment to ensure the journal in system properly implemented.
3. Coordinating SOX audit process
Act as coordinator of the SOX Audit such as finalise the scooping process and testing timeline, prepare SOX scooping and planning document, coordinate the submission of the request list and walkthrough or testing session.
Ensure that SOX and others Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) are in place and ensure that there are no significant issues that continue outstanding relating with controls.
4. Prepare and complete any ad-hoc tasks/projects
Involve in any ad-hoc or project system enhancement and ensure that all system enhancement end to end process (from business requirement preparation until Go Live) are complete in timely manner.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree preferably with Accounting / Finance background from reputable University with minimum GPA 3.0
If the candidates worked in the Accounting firm, should be from the BIG4 firm with the minimum 3 years experience and at the senior associate level or
Have experience in the Life Insurance company (specifically on the Accounting or Reporting department) with 4 years minimum experience

Fluent in spoken and written English
