Job Description

Packaging Operator

YOUR TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES

To operate packaging units to ensure compliance with all statutory and government standards, utilising ES&H resources.
Work together with the maintenance technicians to carry out all machine setting and operations troubleshooting in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
Provide input to the improvement and maintenance of operating, safety and environment procedures and systems.
To involve in performing and monitoring the overall plant performance including:
Product yield & target achievement
On stream time
Quantity of product produced
Quality of product produced
ES&H compliance
Follows daily instructions, prioritize work and follows up on special assignment request and report results.
Communicate effectively with other workers, health and safety representatives, manager.
Provide cooperation and support in the resolution of packaging operation and equipment problems
Job involves shift work and overtime (nights, weekends and holidays) to meet production requirements.
Record the packaging operation timely and in the right manner.

WHO YOU ARE

Senior high school graduated or Senior Technical school with 2 –3 years experience in the manufacturing operation of a chemical processing plant specifically in the packaging area
