About Our Client

Our client is a leading industrial organization in Indonesia. A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are a premium brand in the industry. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a Engineering Director who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business.

Job Description

  • Lead, supervise, and develop all the manufacturing engineering activities
  • Consults with Chief Operating Officer and Director of Manufacturing to create long-range operating and manufacturing goals specific to the needs of the organization.
  • Develops new products from concept to testing to production.
  • Collaborates with marketing department to determine market potential for new products.
  • Oversees progress and timeliness of projects.
  • Reviews project reports to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
  • Supervise the design process and automation of our manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Propose new methods and procedures, together with the other directors, in view of optimizing the management process of the organization
  • Analyze complex quality issues, participate in the process of solving these problems, ensure that the action plan is in place and that follow-up is carried out
  • Act as a facilitator and agent of change to support the work teams in the various stages of project management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong capacity for project management and the supervision of multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast, high volume, and constantly changing environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in automation, robotics, and stamping
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite software
