Job Description

An exciting opportunity has come up in a new start-up for an individual looking for an exciting career in the fast-paced consumer entertainment and digital tech environment.

You will have the opportunity to build our data systems from ground up, collecting and defining data sets and building actionable insights from web and mobile analytics for key stakeholders in the organisation to help them make better business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying and pulling together data sources, defining and setting up data structures and definitions

Responsible for data cleansing and quality assurance, setting up automated reports and dashboards for performance monitoring

Responsible for defining our data management strategy, managing, maintaining and developing our data platforms

You will be required to support product and marketing teams in tracking and delivering on key insights related to performance marketing, retention and life cycle management

You will have the opportunity to initiate and lead analytics projects, consulting with internal teams to determine their ongoing business needs, and to find solutions to them

Responsible for identifying trends and segments, new market potentials, new propositions by deploying various data analysis strategies

You will be required to prepare presentation decks to present key insights to internal stakeholders, clients or investors

Experience and Skills:
1) Fluent in Python and SQL.

2) Excellent database management skills and visualisation tools, especially MS Excel and Google Sheets

3) Knowledge of data collection/cleansing tools, e.g. pandas (Python library).

4) Experienced with web and mobile analytics tools is a must, especially Google Analytics.

5) Strong technical skills, including Python, SQL

6) Strong communication skills, for liaising with project leaders and teams and working well as part of a team and taking direction well.

Qualifications:
1) Minimum Bachelor in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or other equivalent qualifications (or a data analytics certification acquired through a specific program)

2) Min. 2 years of experience.
