About You
We are looking for an individual who works with partner marketing & brand teams. Partners have own multiple brands & prioritising their commercial & brand teams on Guinness would unlock the opportunity. Maintain multi-faceted relationships with external and internal stakeholders, e.g. Distributor, Customers, SEA region, Innovation, Global Brand Team, Supply and Commercial partners.
About the Role
This role requires deeper insights of each market which could be regulatory & demographically different. Each market can also have different marketing guidelines & complex market environment.
It will operate in a highly competitive environment and need to understand the motivations of shoppers, consumers and customers. Drive the brand with agility and an entrepreneurial attitude to achieve the brand and business objectives.
Responsible for Guinness’ Brand Strategy
Building the annual marketing plan based on category and consumer insights, commercial targets, brand growth and profitability along with the partner brand managers in markets
Adapting the regional & global marketing campaigns to suit individual markets using local insights
Support Brand managers to develop activation, media plans and future plan of the brand including innovation, channel strategy and e-commerce.
Working closely with Commercial team & partner brand teams to drive incremental volume through activations, robust media planning & brand equity to deliver NSV
Support brand managers to build plans for most efficient use of the A&P budgets
Building future (innovation) funnel, to reach new audiences and make consumers drink better.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver financial growth goals (NSV, Margin, OP, Cash) and brand Market Shares through rigorous management of performance
Build through the line activation with marketing lead & partner brand managers by implementing both ATL (digital & OOH) and BTL to drive brand salience for the trademark.
Develop brilliant marketing content fit for markets, adapt regional & global brand plans to meet market insights, Build Guinness innovation pipeline and consolidating M&E across countries, to evaluate performance of activities and further improve ROI.
Responsible for the innovation agenda for Guinness in partner markets– including adaptation of marketing strategy, incl. alignment with regional and global team.
Gather consumer insights from partners & build robust plans with partners to meet brand equity targets. Build a robust digital agenda & become market point of contact for the new digital approach. Working together with CODE to craft digital environment and build outstanding digital execution.
Experience required/Skills/Capabilities/Languages
Minimum 8 yrs marketing experience, working in complex partner & JV models in market or SEA
Ability to work with cross functional internal teams & influence the partners marketing teams
The ability and desire to follow things through to conclusion.
Possess excellent (and proven) large-scale project management skills – able to plan and execute superbly and juggle multi and conflicting priorities.
Have the ability to create and inspire energy for their plans and ideas.
Be passionate about our brands, hungry to succeed and beat the competition. Focused on sales and able to build deep relationships with sales colleagues and external teams at pace.
Be determined with a strong goal and performance orientation.
