We’re looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with a passion for improving the quality, scalability, and usability of platforms and applications through careful testing. Challenges

Design and perform automated and manual tests on fintech websites, applications, backend infrastructures, and systems.

Integrate different types of testing into the clients’ internal and external workflows.

Coordinate testing procedures and keep a detailed record of the findings to ensure wholesome releases.

Investigate issues and work with developers to identify the root cause, understand the problem, and develop a solution.
Must have

University degree in computer science, or a combination of technical training and work experience

Ability to develop powerful clean code, using test-driven development methods

2+ years of experience in a web or mobile application testing role

Experience in the design and execution of automated and manual test plans

Working experience of agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban

Knowledge of Git

Passion for open-source platforms like Linux

Fluency in spoken and written English

Good to have

Experience with a relational database management system such as PostgreSQL

Expertise in JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and CSS

Experience with performance testing and load testing

Ability to program in one or more of the following languages: Perl (preferred), Python, PHP, Selenium, or C/C++
