JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose:

He/She will also provide finance support and advise to the Country head and assume the responsibility of Finance lead for the country particularly in the areas business appraisal, risk management, and governance/controls. This role will also play a leading role in supporting, managing and driving the delivery of the business goals and growth aspirations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all finance activities and provide finance support in the areas like planning, business appraisal, business models, risk management, stewardship and governance/ controls
  • Ensure compliance to all local tax and statutory regulation
  • To ensure accurate and timely actual results including both financial and operational KPI’s.
  • Financial modeling for commercial projects, monthly outlooks, quarterly forecast, Annual Financial Plan & Strategic Business Plan
  • Be responsible for the preparation Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Plan package and provide analysis for to support the country business team
  • To support management with commercial analytics including but not limited Product, Gencat, Franchisee / partner profitability, Inventory, Comps, Store level Profitability, Retail KPIs, Pricing calculation, Dilution, Promotion analysis, Margin analysis
  • Ensure timely month end closing and accuracy of reporting
  • PER support, post evaluation
  • Understand and leverage on the value drivers of the business
  • Working Capital management especially in area of inventory, account payables and account receivables
  • Inspire a world class finance team to drive a culture of continuous improvement with people, systems and processes through timely coaching and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Accounting or Finance or related degree. MBA / CPA / equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a financial analysis and controller role, preferably 5 years working experience with a proven record of delivering commercial support, for a multinational company.
  • Leading small finance team
  • Strong analytical and data mining skills is required including advance MS Excel
  • Systems Experience: Hana, Essbase & SAP
  • Have a proven record of using databases/ systems and related tools (Business Object).
  • Experience in Essbase / SAP is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, at all levels and globally.
  • Pro-active, keen to take the initiative and highly analytical.
  • Ability to multitask and likes challenges.
  • Commercial experience working in a US MNC/ Retail/ FMCG
