We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our RIOP (Resources Industries Operations & Products) as Sales & Operation Planning Coordinator .
As Sales & Operation Planning Coordinator, you will be accountable for guiding the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the Hydraulic Mining Shovel (HMS) product group. You will advocates, enables, and drives execution of the S&OP process for the product group, working with key process partners to deliver products profitably to the marketplace, maximizing plant efficiency, and stabilizing customer delivery performance.
As the Sales & Operation Planning Coordinator, you will:
Be accountable for the execution of the S&OP process within the product group, including providing oversight for process conformance.
Ensure S&OP process compliance, working collaboratively across multiple functional groups, including Facility Demand Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Resources, Supply Chain, Operations, Value Chain, and others as needed.
Lead monthly S&OP process. Participate in the Machine Business Review, lead the Demand and Supply Reviews, and coordinate and complete the preparation of the Board S&OP material.
Provide analysis and recommendations to production planning groups and product group leadership; provide feedback to all data sources to drive improved accuracy in each subsequent cycle.
Manage worldwide demand and orders to optimize Commercial and S&OP metrics such as Sales to Users, Percentage of Industry Sales (PINS), Availability, and Inventory Conformance.
Proactively drive and coordinate actions to address gaps in Commercial and S&OP metrics.
Provide regional coordination of product allocation to balance optimal business goals.
The successful candidate must bring:
A college or university degree in Business, Marketing, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, production or master scheduling, orders management, procurement, sales operations, or supply chain.
Thorough knowledge of Caterpillar products and product applications.
Ability to effectively work with Tableau, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerBI, and other statistical tools.
Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building ability to create a cooperative work environment inside and outside the product group.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to develop and advocate for recommendations on key business decisions with process partners.
Ability to prepare complex concepts for presentation to business decision makers and supporting team members.
Strong ability to deal with uncertainty, ambiguity and be agile.
Strong English communication skills required.

Advanced experience and knowledge about lean principles, specifically those applied to Sales and Operations planning, demand management, constraint management and supply chain planning.
