Job Description & Requirements:
Siemens Gas & Power - Industrial Application is one of Siemens which specialized on providing solution for industrial needs. We have brand-new openings within our Solution business in Jakarta! We are on the lookout for experienced Electrical Engineer who will have main responsibility for design, engineering and project execution of electrical power packages as integrated solution. Electrical power packages consist of but not limited to MV/LV Switchgear/MCC, Transformers, UPS, DBs, control panels, NGR, Alternators, Motors, VSDs, layout design, Cables & Trays, Lighting, Earthing & lightning, bulk materials and PMS /SCADA system including system studies.
Candidate's Profile :
  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Electrical Power sub-degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience on engineering activity within power distribution / process electrification / power automation project. Having experience handling end user in Pulp and Paper Industry or O&G is a plus
  • Good technical knowledge of Electrical Power System, Electrical Equipment (Switchgear, Transformer, LV MCC, etc.), and Power Automation (SCADA or PMS). Having experience in engineering or commissioning Siemens equipment is a plus
  • Knowledge of application standards & regulation especially IEC
  • Hands-on experience in software used in power system studies such as ETAP or PSS-Sincal and have a good skill using MS Office
  • Having experience using automation engineering tools such as PCS7 is a plus
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Proactive and able to work under deadlines in global project environment
  • Travelling for meetings, project site activity, and training will be required.

Candidate's Responsibility :
  • Review Project specification & applicable standards, rules & regulations and Class requirements
  • Design, Engineer and provide optimized solution to meet project & client requirements
  • Perform required engineering calculations, design reviews and verifications including Power system studies using ETAP / PSS-Sincal software
  • Interface with customers and other stakeholders to clarify and resolve engineering & project related issues
  • Responsible for ensuring all interfaces related to Electrical system are identified and designed properly
  • Prepare requisition for order, review supplier's offers, make technical bid evaluation, optimize solution and assist in preparing the Purchase order
  • Liaise directly with the sub-contractors and package /system vendors to clarify technical issues and outstanding details. Coordinate with factories / vendors in design, documentation, manufacturing, and testing activities to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Participate in bid activities and approval process
  • Support site team in resolving issues during installation, testing & commissioning
  • Assist project managers and other groups especially in Risk & Opportunity analysis and Change & Claim managements, follow-ups & expedition, progress monitoring & control and resolving outstanding issues
  • Conduct site activity such as commissioning and troubleshooting when required.
