About Dialogue List

  • Dialogue List (DL) is a verbatim record of all spoken dialogue, including utterances, as well as on-screen texts or Forced Narratives (FN). It contains all pertinent information including the exact timecodes of the dialogue or FN, the name or identity of the speaker, source dialogues, and the words of the dialogue.
  • TC stands for Timecoding, the process where timecodes are added on the IN column and OUT column.
  • TR stands for Transcription, the process where audio is converted into written form.
  • Create English transcription and adjust the timecodes for Dialogue List

Qualifications:

  • Have good listening skills
  • Able to use shortcuts on keyboards to create timecodes proficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in adjusting and creating timecodes
  • Willing to learn new things and enjoy new challenges
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and within limited time constraints.

About Pivot Language Dialogue List

  • Pivot Language Dialogue List (PLDL) is a record of all spoken dialogue, including utterances, as well as on-screen texts or Forced Narratives (FN). It contains all pertinent information including the exact timecodes of the dialogue or FN, the name or identity of the speaker, source dialogues, and its English translation. PLDL is commissioned for any content for which the source language is not English.
  • The PLDL is created and then distributed to dubbing teams for translation to their target language before they proceed with dubbing.

Job Description:

  • Check the English content quality
  • Check if there are any missing dialogues, FNs, or Sound Description
  • Check whether the script follows the provided client guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Have good listening skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in adjusting and creating timecodes
  • Willing to learn new things and enjoy new challenges

Conditions:

  • This is a freelance position with no limitation as to the location.
  • Payment is made within 30 days of receiving original invoice (non-negotiable).
