Job Description

Role: Hydrocyclone Service Engineer Location: AP, preferably Indonesia. Other possible locations such Thailand, Vietnam, etc. within AP can be discussed. Job description As a Hydrocyclone Service engineer you will be responsible for aftermarket service, process optimization, troubleshooting and support to aftermarket sales in Asia Pacific region. The kind of high technology you will be responsible for include hydrocycloning, of all which are key and vital for our customer’s processes. You will work out in the field, traveling and visiting customers installations, and therefore the position requires extensive travel in Asia Pacific. Main Responsibilities
  • Customer’s installations follow-up
  • Provide equipment’s maintenance service through mill’s mechanical inspection audits
  • Provide process optimization, fine tuning and troubleshooting of equipment’s installation by carrying out process audits.
  • Provide objective service reports to mills.
  • Sales support: Direct involvement in sales of equipment’s spare parts. Follow up of spare parts quotes. Elaborate recommended spare parts list.
  • Identify potential needs for installation’s upgrades and rebuilds.
  • Training of customer operator’s staff
Qualifications and requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • OR relevant experience as well as knowledge of given process equipment and machinery in production environment from the pulp and paper industry.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years minimum in industrial installations.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software tools. Basic understanding of simulation and process calculations is expected.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English is required. Other several languages from the region would be an advantage.
  • Very good communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Willing to travel 75%
  • Good cooperation skills, social, open minded and service oriented. Hands-on attitude and not afraid of getting
  • The position requires a great deal of independent work. A proactive attitude to fill in your own agenda is expected.
