  • Strengthen customer relationships via regular customer visits, especially with key customers’ R&D/technical teams.
  • Assist initiating and building opportunity pipelines with direct and key customers.
  • Liaise closely with Singapore laboratory on customer projects requiring laboratory support.
  • To support and follow up on projects in pipeline, progressing to product commercialization.
  • Present results clearly to support technical questions and product launches in Indonesia.
  • Support promotion of new products and concepts/technical solution launches to customers via 1-to-1 meeting, e-visit, seminar, TOD, etc.
  • Conduct product training to sales, distributor, and customers.
  • Attending to technical enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Technical exchanges with local and regional technical teams.
  • Internal sharing of market trends and competitor’s activities within Indonesia.
  • Support and participate in customer engagement at ICI and In-Cos Asia.
  • Contact person for any Halal and local FDA regulatory matters.
  • Idea generation of applied technology innovations, answering/following market trends and customer needs especially for Indonesia market.
  • Hands-on lab work in Singapore lab for better understanding of Evonik products when the need arises.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Chemistry/Life Sciences/Cosmetic Science or any other relevant discipline.
  • 5-10 years of work experience in product application/technical service environment, within the personal care industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of raw materials used in personal care products.
  • Good understanding of the fundamentals of applied technology/cosmetic science for skin care, hair care and cleansing applications.
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience of lab scale formulation and processing approaches for different cosmetic applications.
  • Good communication skills and command of English language (written and spoken).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements of local Halal compliance and FDA associated with cosmetic ingredients, including actives, for use in cosmetic products.
