Our Team
The Information Security team plays a critical role in supporting the company's vision to develop and lead the Southeast Asian Open Finance ecosystem by bringing secure and reliable capabilities in accordance with security practice principles without sacrificing the customer journey.
Finantier controls a lot of sensitive data in the Open Finance ecosystem, which makes it particularly vulnerable to cyberattacks that exploit security weaknesses, both through emulation of attacks from the Offensive team and genuine attacks from cyber attackers. As a result, a robust defensive system is required to protect Finantier assets. The Defensive team is expected to be able to create a defense strategy that will cover defense against networks, applications, endpoints, data, and information, as well as monitoring assets and threats that are poured into a more modern adaptive Security Operation Center in collaboration with other teams in the Engineering Department. The Defensive team will also be responsible for establishing the Computer Security Incident Response Team to help with incident handling.

The Responsibilities

    • Design and architecture defensive method for adaptive integration including orchestration and integration.
    • Identify and assess threats to the application and its supporting technologies by developing and deploying integration, orchestration, and automation security solutions and use cases.
    • Define a simplified security metrics approach that enables leadership and operational staff to quickly take action on application security-related risks
    • Detect, protect and prevent vulnerabilities within the organization as well as recovery proses by analyzing security-related events and alerts, and assisting with incident response, remediation, and mitigation activities.
    • Establish processes and procedures allowing the team to respond to threats across our diverse set of brands and partners.
    • Guide ongoing optimizations by implementing new technologies, replacing technologies, and automating security activities.
    • Lead and supervise the Incident Detection, Response & Recovery as well as ensuring the incident reports are accurate, actionable, and meet service level goals.
    • Determine the requirements needed to run SSDLC (Secure Software Development Lifecycle) including select, test and maintaining application security tools and services.
    • Demonstrate to generate detailed and accurate reports for technical and executive audiences.

The Requirements

    • Having experience of at least 3-4 years in cybersecurity, information security ideally in SOC, DevSecOps or any defensive domain.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
    • It is preferable to have the following certification or training for Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GISF, GSEC, CHFI, SABSA Foundation, CEH;
    • Knowledge of Windows client/server, Unix/Linux systems, Mac OS, and cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is preferred.
    • Has experience and/or familiar with defensive concepts and tools like SIEM, Security Analytics, SOAR, Stride methodology STRIDE, MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Management, CSIRT, Computer Forensics, IT Service Management.
    • Solid understanding of technical security, typical vulnerabilities and cyber-attack scenarios in different technologies – especially in web applications, API interfaces and cloud environments.
    • Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.
