Reporting To: Marketing Director – Foodservice APMEA



This role will be part of our wider Brands Marketing team for Foodservice in APMEA (Asia Pacific Middle East & Africa). The successful candidate will be responsible for the Kerry Food brands portfolio management, comprising of brands like Swiss Bear, Dairy Master, Ravifruit, or Chef’s Palette. This role primary objective is to drive long-term growth for the food brands across the region through strategy development, budget management, focus on high ROI activities, excellence in execution & strong markets/customers interaction. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for food and brands. A close working relationship alongside colleagues for all areas of the business, Sales teams, Chefs and R&D to achieve stretching targets is necessary.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop the food brands marketing strategy, defining product categories objectives & priorities, markets segmentation and yearly activities calendars in line with KPIs and budget allocation.
  • Execute flawlessly, the regional brands marketing strategy locally by working closely with in-country commercial & marketing teams, and directly interacting with customers
  • Deliver commercial budget targets and maximise brand profitability. Closely monitor financial & sales results, as well as budget allocation, and adapt the strategy month by month depending on performance & challenges.
  • Build a deep understanding of distributors, customers and consumers needs and develop powerful insights and strategies to develop brands sales for the region. Research and analyse new markets, channels, and target customers for the brand
  • Develop and execute detailed integrated marketing campaigns both off and on-line, engaging with internal teams and external agencies. Responsible for the creation of adaptable trade marketing and sales communication materials, as well as Key Account presentations.
  • Responsible for the innovation plan: renovation and new product development recommendation & commercialization all along to launch plans execution and review
  • Work closely with other marketing team members to ensure brand strategy alignment with digital strategy & innovation pipeline
  • Brand Strategy - gathering data from different sources / financial & budget measures / summarizing key conclusions / recommendation-mode
  • Market Insights & Knowledge - understands Foodservice and Consumer market trends (domestic and international), and customer strategies to proactively create / enhance our Brand differentiation
  • Translate market knowledge and consumer insights into actionable opportunities
  • Product Knowledge & Innovation - leverage product knowledge to communicate value propositions to internal stakeholders and external customers and create relevant product tools and materials
  • Budget Management & Winning Performance - management of the brand budgets to ensure the investments return for the brand, against the KPI’s; responsible for tracking and reviewing brand and campaigns performance
  • Provide coaching and leadership to sales teams to achieve expected results through the usage of trade marketing programs and materials


Qualifications & Competencies:



  • Result-oriented marketer with at least 6 years’ relevant end-to-end, brand management experience possessing high autonomy and strong leadership, is a team-player with strong communication skills and the willingness to drive high sales performance for the brands managed
  • Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry (B2B or B2C) with the ability to drive relevant financial and business measures on marketing activities
  • Cross-functional team player, engaging easily with other marketing team members and across Commercial, Finance, R&D, Chefs, Supply Chain etc.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken & written) is a must; a second language applicable to the APMEA region will be an advantage
  • Must be able to present to distributors and customers in an engaging way to open business opportunities
  • Ability to translate innovation into relevant, actionable goals that drives added value
  • Able to travel 20% of the time, primarily in South East Asia
