Leads the strategic development, execution, and achievement of the SBP and AOP comprehensive marketing agenda for the portfolio of beverages
Responsible for ensuring PEP desired market position and driving and value share and brand KPI across brands.
Manages all creative, promotional, PR, digital, and media agency relationships
Develops and maintain strategic perspectives and key consumer insights critical for innovation, new projects, ideas and execution.
Responsibility as key point person to represent PEP marketing with bottler counterparts to negotiate, influence bottler
Establishes close collaboration with the BU and Region in leading the marketing agenda at the MU level
Leads MU marketing leadership and driving motivation across the local marketing team and its associates including agencies
Maintains a climate of trust and integrity that attracts, retains and motivates a top quality marketing team
Manages and nurtures relationships with bottling partners and all related partner agencies
As a control owner, performs control roles and responsibilities in accordance with PepsiCo Accountability model and ensures that he and the team follow all GCS protocols. Ensures timely remediation of any control deficiencies.
As a process owner A&M processes, leads the GCS agenda in accordance with PepsiCo Accountability model by building GCS capability on A&M related processes and controls ensuring robust risk assessments, quarterly GCS testing by Control Owners. Assess key control effectiveness and ensures gaps, as identified in quarterly testing and corporate audits, are remediated on a timely basis.
Qualifications/Requirements
Graduate of marketing or any business degree. Post Graduate course in business or marketing is desirable
10+ year experience in Marketing including category management, product development and innovation, and brand activation
Demonstrated skills and solid track record in building brands and marketing ideas, ideally of FMCG background
Strong base experience in consumer research, media, and advertising
Experience in managing key accounts/ key customers
Delivered superior business results through winning with consumer ad customer strategies that drive volume, profile and shares
Excellent communication skills
Great leadership skills, able to lead team and drive action, visible leadership persuasive skills
Strong strategic, intellectual reasoning and analytical skills
Commercially and organizationally savvy to work effectively in multi-level, multi-cultural teams within and outside the MU, able to secure external and internal support for MU requirements through collaborative work with different stakeholders.
