As Sales Associate within J.P. Morgan Payments, the individual's primary roles will be to increase revenue from the existing client's portfolio as well as through acquisition of new business from Financial Institutions client segment (Banks, Non-Bank Financial Institutions). He/she will need to be business focused, work closely with other team such as product, implementation, banker as well as other stakeholders in location and regional.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Sales of the entire product suite within payments, including clearing capability, cash management, liquidity, cross currency as well as trade.
  • Maintain existing portfolio of clients and account planning.
  • Proactive identification & solicitation of new names with the focus on delivering new business revenue.
  • Provide relationship management coverage for key clients including the development of multiple contacts at head office level.
  • Build successful relationships with internal lines of businesses to maximize revenue growth with potential clients.
  • Take charge in the preparation and submission of RFPs (i.e. coordinating the deal team, ensuring deadlines are met, etc).
  • Timely completion of client call reports & KYC compliance requirements
  • Active participation in internal & external industry sessions
  • Gather market intelligence on client / client needs / new markets / competition
  • Assist in the implementation process of on-boarding new clients
  • Work with internal partners e.g. product, implementation, operations and customer services, legal units
  • Work with other banking partners e.g. relationship banker, investment bank, markets and others
  • Be willing to take on account responsibility as knowledge and skills increase

REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 3-5 years transaction banking experience, preferably client facing.
  • Excellent in inter-personal skills and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Works in a team environment at appropriate times
  • Excellence in verbal and writing skills
  • Able to think flexibly and learns fast
  • Good time management, organization and planning skills
