Data Engineering

Centralized customer data management for Consumer Banking in DWH and Big data to ensure proper documentation on control regarding sensitive/critical data handling
Implementing ETL process includes building ETL Jobs ,Scheduling and Monitoring.
Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes
Implementation of good server and IT infrastructure management by providing a robust yet secured data storage, management, and distribution
Managing Big Data Platform based on Cloudera distribution
Conducts business analysis, process mapping, and data engineering where needed while working closely with the Business, Technology and Support Partners.
Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data
Preparation and regular update for specialized datamart for each DM functions to accelerate processing time and to minimize disclosure of customer sensitive information
Continued to enhance datamart and available information through close interaction with business segments, products and channels team
Preparation of various reports, automation, and business triggers/alerts to support business units by highlighting few key business indicator trend

Busines Performance and Management

Implement ed of maker-checker mechanism according to existing data governance and other procedures (SOP) for promoting data accuracy
Involve d in the strategic initiative project within Decision Management such as: Big Data Implementation and to lead the working team for UR preparation, conducting UAT testing, and provide assurance for implementation

Regulatory Compliance

Regular review in accordance to data security guidelines and adequate control management
Active participation of related projects involving DM including process improvement review for existing workflow for better turnaround and improve efficiency and effectivity
Ensure data security, integrity, and distribution according to existing regulation regarding data management, retention, and information security
Full compliance to data management, security, and distribution

Technical/Functional skills

Strong consumer banking knowledge
Solid critical thinking to work well with complex data
Strong project management skills to focus on multiple key priorities
Proficiency English as business language
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications i.e. Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in SQL and SAS Platform
Proficiency programming in Java, Scala, R,Python, etc.
Experience with Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop System.
Proficient understanding of distributed computing principles
Management of Hadoop cluster, with all included services .
Added Advantage for having experience in Oracle Big Data Appliance and ODI.
Proficiency with Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
Good knowledge of Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
Knowledge of various ETL techniques and frameworks, such as Flume
Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Spark-Streaming, Storm or Kinesis
Experience with Big Data Cloud Platform i.e. GCP or AWS
