To manage and lead Fund Administration & Unit Registry Team in processing, administrating, and reporting portfolio and unit holding transactions of all funds managed by the company, and ensure all continuously run smoothly accordingly
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely processing of every transactions (investment operations & mutual funds) at back office are executed properly & timely as required by prevailing regulations
  • Ensure funds’ assets and activities and reporting are administered properly by Custodian Bank in accordance to the Collective Investment Contract and/or client’s mandate
  • Ensure daily operational process of all fund managed by the company including settlement and NAV calculation are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Perform timely processing/settlement of investment transaction as well as
  • Fund reporting and corporate actions
  • Fund’s annual audit process and its timely submission according to prevailing regulation.
  • Liaise with custodian bank/public accountant/tax authority for fund taxation matters (including payment, reporting, submission and audit)
  • Involve in Custodian assessment, appointment and due diligence
  • To provide qualified data and reports based on inquiry from other department timely
  • To develop and review the Standard Operating Procedure for the process flow with Custodian Bank and Selling Agent (if any) and make changes where necessary.
  • To calculate end of month performances of the mutual funds managed by the company and create the fund factsheets to be reported to the clients on monthly basis

Memberships/other key relationships:
  • Hold a WMI license

Experience/Qualifications and Skills:
  • Hold a Bachelor Degree of Economics/Finance/Science and Engineering. Hold Master Degree in Economics/Finance is preferable.
  • Minimum 5years’ experience in similar capacity in asset management or mutual fund industry
Other skills required:
  • Having experiences, good knowledge in funds’ administration, unit’s registry and its taxation
  • Hands-On Person
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Meticulous & detail
  • Strong in-depth knowledge of cash flow analysis and company modeling
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of asset management and mutual fund operations and valuations, to continuously streamline and improve operation process flows.
