An Exciting Opportunity has arisen for an exceptional HR Administrator to join our team at Menzies Aviation Indonesia and support the day-to-day activities of our Human Resources department. HR administrators will act as the first port of call to employees and external partners for all HR related queries. As a priority, HR administrators will handle the majority of employee documentation, including contracts, recruitment paperwork and starter packs. A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary, including helping with travel arrangements.


Candidate requirements

  • Support all administration of HR Department
  • Organise and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases (e.g., leave records, annual review, salary data)
  • Assist with preparing payroll data providing relevant employee information
  • Participate in HR projects
  • Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents including employee documentation, contracts, recruitment paperwork and starter packs.
  • Recording and reporting of HR statistics on a monthly basis.
  • Being the first point of contact for employees for any HR related queries
  • Actively participate in disciplinary and performance management processes and any other HR function necessary for the region.
  • Manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Support the airport pass and licensing requirements of the operation
  • Collate expense claims for travel and other expenses
  • Ensure all HR files and HR training records are maintained and updated.
  • Effective communication and co-operation with inter-departmental ensuring all people related processes are managed efficiently and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Additional duties/projects as requested by HR Manager

Safety, Security and Compliance

  • Take reasonable care for the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions whilst at work.
  • Co-operate with their manager / supervisor in order to allow them to perform or comply with any legal requirements imposed on the company.
  • Not intentionally or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided by the company in the interests of health, safety or welfare reasons.
  • Inform their manager / supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to their manager / supervisor, who will then follow the procedures contained in this manual.
  • Carry out work in accordance with information and training provided and any specific workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
  • Attend training courses as may be arranged by the Company.
  • Engage with MORSE and follow our code principles

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or other relevant role
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Thorough knowledge of Indonesian labour law and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Respectful, supportive and friendly approach.
  • Clear and honest communication.
  • Flexible and understanding of changing priorities and situations.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Confident and focused.
