Headline

This position is responsible for developing competency in the process technology (products and projects) to support FLS (capital) project opportunities in Indonesia and across the Asia Region. The position will be the regional expert of process and solutions technology and will be working together with the local sales team across predominately in Indonesia and if required in the region in the bidding process and execution of project opportunity.

The incumbent will foster add value to capital/project opportunities, supporting all capital/project sales related aspects, including supporting proposal preparation, discussions and finalization of agreements and working together with the end customer, engineering companies, EPC, agent and or distributor.

Job and Responsibilities
Comprise the following. Other duties may be assigned considering organizational needs and incumbent’s levels of knowledge, skills, experience and abilities.

  • Act as the center of expertise of project and process technology of FLS in Indonesia (prime focus) and Asia Region
  • Leveraging FLS capital offering starting in the very early stage of opportunities
  • Leading the technical discussion on project opportunities with the client
  • Working closely with proposal and sales team on the capital/project sales and supporting the technical side of proposal
  • Liaise with the process/product line management and project management team on the capital opportunities
  • Supporting sales in meeting Customers/Engineering Companies/EPC when required to add value of FLS offering
  • Support pro-actively, Aftermarket / Sales of Wear and Spare Parts. Provides technical support to customers, agent/dealer, sales personnel’s and service engineers in respect of the parts and logistics function.
  • Supervise and coordinates for a check and follow up on all account’s receivables with region/customers
  • Implement approval grid, supervise and co-ordinate the discount structures working for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Excellent communication skill.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documents
  • Must have excellent leadership skills.
  • Must be team-player and lead by setting examples.
  • Degree (Mechanical) and 10 - 12 years of experience in the process/project industry.
  • Experience must be from following industries: Construction, Minerals Processing, Heavy Engineering, Aggregates, Mining, Equipment Distribution and the allied service industries.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Essential

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, technical correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
