Manufacturing Support Manager


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Setting up and improving PDCA KPI reporting. Review and analysis of production KPI’s in collaboration with manufacturing manager
  • Demonstrate personal leadership on the people agenda through delivery of inspiring employee communication and building strong involvement mechanisms.
  • Ensure that production objectives are met, optimize scheduling production for manufacturing to fulfil Company and customer requirements.
  • Understand and communicate manufacturing capabilities and restrictions in accordance with LTSIP and Capacity Improvement Glidepath
  • Develop business case against items of the productivity pipeline (resources, capital, benefits)
  • Perform Competitive analysis vs. other sites within the COE network, and set up the improvement glide path by applying the best practices from other sites.
  • Review and analyze ideas generated through weekly area Kaizen (from DFF, CL, and CILT) and assess appropriately for next steps to be executed including feedback to idea generator.
  • Charter capital projects and continuously ensure validity of project objectives as well as identifying and managing project risks and issues.
  • Maintain the pace of projects and deliver measurable improvement as well as providing a weekly report on project(s) progress.
  • Work directly with HSE & Manufacturing Managers & Team Leaders and relevant support groups during accident/incident investigation and address any issues & preventative actions arising from these investigations.
  • Develop process monitoring systems by identifying critical process steps and applying methods to reduce process variation in order to reduce/eliminate the cause of defects through centralized standard of Autonomous Maintenance program.
  • Conduct weekly PDCA walkthroughs as required. Action all findings and follow through to resolution. Present findings in reportable format and perform review of findings with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the process routing on monthly basis as the input for quarterly capacity review. Propose the update of the capacity and process routing together with SCM and Controlling as part of quarterly rolling forecast.

WHO YOU ARE


  • Education Min. Bachelor degree (preferably majoring in pharmacy, chemist, food tech, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer or mechatronic)
  • Relevant experiences Min. experience in pharmaceutical industries or FMCG for 7 years Having good technical knowledge, A3 problem solving, continuous improvement mindset, and good understanding of cGMP is a plus
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills Good PC skills, especially MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
