Currently, we are seeking a high caliber City Operations Manager based in Bandung, as we continue to expand our presence and capabilities across Indonesia.
About the role Interested in becoming a part of global company while empowering Indonesian SMEs? We have an exciting role for you in the operations field with our most talented colleagues. This role reports and work closely with HQ Team based in Hongkong to manage end to end initiatives for developing programs to carry out millions upon millions of deliveries. You'll have ample opportunity to flex, overseeing Lalamove's daily operations in Bandung. We'll be ready from day one to help our SMEs get their goods moving. Are you with us?

Main Responsibilities

    • Setup a funnel management process collaborate with Marketing to generate driver interest against hard targets
    • Organize your team to maximize the conversion of these leads down the funnel and reach your active fleet target
    • Setup fleet acquisition & onboarding strategy
    • Offline Brand Presence acquisitions and retention strategy (setup mandatory sticker policy for 4W and Lalabag distribution strategy for 2W)
    • Ensure our service professionalism and availability
    • Maintain driver quality (Training, post training, drivers rule & code of ethics)
    • Build a community culture with high standards and strong values
    • Manage the community of drivers
    • Process improvement and standards. Identify, build and enforce Standard Operating procedures to manage the driver operations team effectively

    • Strong sense of prioritization, and structured mindset to cover multiple things at the same time, without compromising on quality
    • Strong integrity to make the best decisions for the company in every situation and stand firm without compromising
    • Data-driven to identify leverages and make the best decisions for the business in every situation

What you will need

    • Degree holder with at least 4 years of operational/leadership experience, preferably in a logistics/e-commerce fulfilment environment
    • Knowledge and understanding of mobile and web technologies
    • Experience on managing teams to achieve ambitious goals
    • Indonesian nationality with fluency in English. Fluency in local language (Sundanese) is a plus
    • Experienced in using Tableau and Excel
