Summary:The work schedule for this position is:
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time 4 weeks of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
The incumbent reports to the Pondok Pinang ICASS Warehouse Supervisor (Position#: C52260) and backs up the supervisor in ensuring proper receipt, storage, issuance, inventory control, warehouse operations, security and disposal of more than 20,000 non-expandable furniture stored at the ICASS Warehouse. The incumbent assists the supervisor in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety of twelve (12) general warehouse personnel and seven (7) residential make-ready direct-reports-responsible for welcome kits and residential cleaning preparations - all operating from the warehouse.
EXPERIENCE: The position requires at least 2 years of progressive warehouse operations experience which includes receiving, storing, and delivering property and equipment to customers and at least 6 months of supervisory experience which includes warehouse safety, customer leading team in household deliveries.
JOB KNOWLEDGE: Incumbent must have demonstrated knowledge of procedures and practices for freight and transportation, requisition, and control of personal property. Must have thorough knowledge of proper storage if equipment furniture and supplies. Should have knowledge of procedures for proper disposition of used property.
Mandatory: Completion of two years vocational education is required.
Evaluations:LANGUAGE: Good Working Knowledge speaking/reading/writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required. This will be tested.
Skills and abilities: Incumbent must be able to communicate, direct, and supervise warehouse staff including supply clerks, drivers and laborers. Ability to schedule and coordinate delivery and pickup of furniture and equipment to and from offices and residences. Ability to plan and conduct periodic and annual inventories. Must be proficient in computer software, particularly Outlook (email and calendar), Word (word processing), and Excel Spreadsheet (tables and pivot charts; inventory analysis). Must be accurate, well organized, customer service-oriented, detail oriented and knowledgeable and comply with safety procedures. Possess a valid driver's license SIM-A.
