Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Mettler Toledo's laboratory division is seeking to hire an Instrument Sales Specialist in Jakarta/Bekasi area. As an Instrument Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for the sales of Rainin's unique liquid handling solutions to customers in pharmaceutical, biomedical, academic and other fields of research and development.
Your responsibilities would include:
  • Achieve sales targets for Rainin instruments, consumables and service by utilizing a value selling approach primarily via phone and email and by conducting virtual demonstrations
  • Generate opportunities from incoming leads and proactive outreach to target companies and contacts from internal databases, segment market studies and other sources
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by mastering product knowledge and applications and providing the highest levels of customer support

What You Need to Succeed
  • Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Bio Technology, Food Technology/Nutrition/Dietetics or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience as Sales Engineer is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Analytical Skills, Chemical Skills, Instrumentation, Negotiation Skill, Presentation Skill
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Sales - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.
  • Experience in handling analytical balance, moisture analyzer, pH meters & sensors, thermal analysis & others
  • Familiar with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Accustomed with clients in Food & Beverage; Pharmaceuticals, Chemical Industries and others
  • English language is compulsory
