Job Description

Objectives of the Position

Work closely with the people manager, advise and support them to translate business priorities and organization needs into people and HRGA initiatives in site. Work will include support management team with organization development, employee communications, ED HR framework execution as well as HR and GA operations.


Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

Recruitment :

  • To lead a full life-cycle hiring process for employee in Supervisory Level and below including contractual employees to ensure the fulfilment of vacant/planned position in timely manner.
  • Initiate HR activities to improve employer branding perception.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Conduct employee on-boarding program for the new joiner.
  • Manage internship program.

Training & Development

  • Identify the training and development needs of individuals or groups of employees to develop training programs that enhance employee's know how, skills and performance.
  • Design, resource and deliver training program, or recommend externally-provided program, which meet the needs of individual employees and are consistent with the organization's overall training plan.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers as well as manage the employee training records.
  • Compile handbooks, manuals, guides, and other materials training.

Site HR Operations

  • Work together with BSSC HR to maintain and update HR Information System to ensure that all personnel information are properly and accurate captured.
  • Assist HR Manager with job evaluation/analysis.
  • Provides support to employee in the interpretation of HR Policies and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the execution of HR Services in the areas of employee’s welfare administration.
  • Monitor the current HR processes and identify ways to improve these processes and systems.
  • Participate in HR Industrial Relation activities e.g. CLA negotiation, conduct investigation of disciplinary matters, etc.
  • Participate in Performance Management review process.

System Policy & Guideline

  • Collaborate with Country HR to ensure relevant HR policy and guideline is updated and improved in regular basis.
  • Responsible person for HR Audit.

Site GA Administration

  • Responsible for managing GA administration activities on site such as canteen/catering, cleaning service/gardener, shuttle and pool car, local vendors, pic for cleaning machine if breakdown such as dishwasher, dryer, photocopy, etc.
  • As contact point for external relation affairs such as donations, CSR activities, etc.


Job Requirements (M
inimum requirement to carry out the work)

  • Bachelor Degree from Management / Laws / Psychology
  • 5 years of experience at the similar position as Site HR & GA
  • Recruitment, Industrial Relation, Learning & Development, General Affairs
  • Communication Skill
  • Problem Solving
