Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Mentor your engineers to ensure their growth and engagement in the team through experience and knowledge base sharing.

Manage by evaluating team workload and develop a staffing plan, and assign projects and balance workload to ensure continuous delivery

Code with fellow team members through code reviews, base code design or simple tools to help fellow members to initiate projects.

Attend meetings with product and business team to understand the requirements

Become partner to Product Managers in deciding visions, strategy and provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructure

Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

Implements and maintains engineering objectives and initiatives

Develop and implements engineering workflow with the agreements with stakeholders

Manage stakeholders expectation, especially in issue management

Understanding the engineering pain points and formulate solution/mitigation for it

Do code reviews to better understand the team’s train of thought during development process

About the Position:
Mentor, manage and code with software engineers to ensure continuous delivery, optimize team performance and provide technical expertise throughout the product life cycle.

We’re looking for someone who is process-driven, detail-oriented, and organized, but also excited to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. You will manage an engineers/developers team, so aside from being a proven individual contributor you will need to have strong leadership and coaching skills.

Key Requirements:
Minimal 5 years of experience in software engineering, software architect, or software development

Minimal 3 years of experience in leading and monitoring an engineering team

Good Experience in High Traffic Web / Mobile development

Still hands-on and enjoys writing code every day preferably with experience in Python, DJango, PHP, Symfony or any PHP Frameworks, MySQL, POSTGRESQL

Have some experience in Mobile Development, Web Front-End Development, NodeJs, React Native, Angular 5

Ability to understand and implement continuous integration

Ability to plan, prioritize, estimate and execute releases with a good degree of predictability risks

Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL, Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments Tools

English Fluency
